Cold Laser Therapy

The make up of our body is broken down into the following:

  • vibrating atoms/molecules come together to make a cell (the most fundamental building block of our body.)
  • a large group of the same type of cells form together to make body tissue.
  • a large amount of the same type of body tissue come together to make up an organ.
  • a group of organs performing the same function come together and make up an organ system (Digestive System, Skeletal System, Nervous System, etc.)
  • a group of systems come together to make up the human body.

So the human body is made up of billions of vibrating atoms that come together to form the very structure that makes us an individual.  Research has shown that a functional healthy cell in the human body should vibrate at approximately 635 nanometers.

Light is measured in WAVELENGTHS.  Different colors of light in the rainbow spectrum have different wavelengths (between 380-760 nms.) which is what determines one color of light from another.  The wavelength of the color of red light is different than the wavelength of the color of blue light; just as the wavelength of the color of ultraviolet light differs from the wavelength of the color of infrared light.  Different color shades and different types of light all have different wavelengths.

What is Laser Therapy?

Laser Therapy is a focused beam of light that is pre-programmed at 635 nms. to function at the exact same wavelength (635 nms) of a healthy human cell in a healthy human being. So thus, a healthy human cell is vibrating at exactly the same wavelength of this pre-programmed red laser beam.   Research has shown that damaged tissue, (Tissue = a group of the same type of cells), diseased tissue, or malfunctioning tissue functions at a wavelength below or above the normal healthy cell wavelength of 635 nms.  This focused pre-programmed beam of light is placed on an area of damaged, diseased, or malfunctioning bodily tissue to help stimulate that exact same tissue to start functioning at exactly the proper healthy frequency of 635 nms.

When the cold laser is applied to the malfunctioning area, your cells are being told to start vibrating once again at 635 nms.  Basically a kick start or jump to the cells battery to start working properly and heal.  This will result in a decrease of pain, wound/injury healing, and chain of events to start the process of becoming healthy again.

What is a Laser?

A LASER is actually a focused beam of light and is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.  When a light is focused, all the photons, which make up the light, are traveling at the same wavelength called a beam or ray.

Hot Lasers vs Cold Lasers

Hot Lasers are beams of light that are used for surgery and are used to cut, burn, and destroy tissue

Cold Lasers are beams of light that are used for stimulating biological function or increasing the performance of body tissue.

How Long Does it Take?

Treatment time can vary from a short time span of 10 seconds to a vary long time span of  60-90 minutes depending upon the size of the area, degree of severity of the injury, length of time of the damage/pain has been present, and overall health of you as an individual.  Multiple treatments may be necessary depending upon the previous mentioned factors.
